More green corruption – just another coincidence?

Just when you thought it could not get worse with Solyndra fading in the news, we learn about more green corruption. This week we watch the Department of Energy granting more green loan guarantees before the money expires.
DOE announced a $737 million loan guarantee to help finance construction of the Crescent Dunes Solar Energy Project, a 110-megawatt solar-power-generating facility in Nye County, Nev. The project is sponsored by Tonopah Solar, a subsidiary of California-based SolarReserve.
The Energy Department said the project will result in 600 construction jobs and 45 permanent jobs.
But, 45 permanent jobs at 16 million each, is not the most interesting part, it is who benefits from this $737 million loan guarantee.
As both Gateway Pundit and American Glob discover, one of SolarReserve’s “investment partners” is Pacific Corporate Group, through its Clean Energy and Technology Fund. And PCG’s executive director is Ron Pelosi — brother of Nancy Pelosi’s husband. Suddenly, this deal makes a lot more sense than spending $737 million for forty-five jobs.
Was this just a coincidence … in the same way that the Obama administration to approve a loan to a failing Solyndra backed by one of his big campaign bundlers was just a coincidence? Your thoughts?

What is fascinating to me is how creative corrupt politicians are. They have all been schooled in the Tammany school of how to launder money. That was brought to perfection by Chicago Politicians in the last century. Give our money to some “sacred cow” endeavor and then get kickbacks to the political machine. The press usually likes the sacred cow so it doesn’t get the scrutiny that a sexcapde gets, especially if it is a conservative sexcapade. So, Obama and his Chicago buddies figured all this out and directed billions to their pals, just like they did with the stimuuli money that went to unions. The only solution is that we have to have laws against this and we will never see them for obvious reasons.
One of the biggest scandals of the Obama presidency has yet to be exposed in its entirety –– I have tons of research ready to roll..

The Solyndra Saga is the tip of the iceberg –– cronyism and corruption drive the tens of billions of DOE green energy money (loans, grants and special tax breaks), the majority going to President Obama and Democrat “friends.” Obama’s Green Corruption is a the largest, most expensive and deceptive case of crony capitalism in American history. Stay tuned here to for continuing coverage at my new Green Corruption blog.
Thanks for the comment, I will check out your “Green Corruption” blog.
Is it “green corruption”, or politics as usual? I imagine that you could find similar relationships in the defense industry that point to Republican shenanigans. Might be interesting to compare the amount of money funneled to green projects vs. defense projects.
