Occupy Oakland Protestors are rioting tonight — Out of Control!

I am watching the riots live on Channel 13. So far they have broken police car windows, and are throwing rocks and bottles at the riot police. Tear gas canisters are being hurled at the crowd by the police in riot gear. About 500 Occupier are continuing to return to the rally staging area in front of City Hall after being driven down the street by the tear gas. The protestors seem to be just going around the block, and returning to the staging area after the gas is dispersed by a local brease.
Is this the action that Obama, Biden, and the Democrats are endorsing?
As I warned in an earlier post there will soon be blood in the street. So far, just some bean bags in the face, and a man down and bleeding. It could get ugly, as the protestors are not following police orders to leave the area. Stay Tuned.

Well, it was only a matter of time.
Interesting that Obama, who has expressed sympathy for that movement, was in the Bay Area before heading back to Washington yesterday. Inspiring leadership.
It was interesting what Obama had to say while he was in the Bay Area. He pointed to the Golden Gate bridge as the type of project that stimulated the economy during the depression and how important it would be to get infrastructure work going again. I guess he hoped no one would notice that the replacement of the Oakland Bay Bridge had all its steel work subcontracted out to the Chinese.

Yes, and look how long it took to build the Oakland Bay Bridge, the original bridge and San Francisco Bay Bridge all in ten years. Look how long it is taking to rebuild the Trade Center in New York, regulation are an impediment to any rapid building fueled recovery.

As predicted (on RR) the Obama demonstrations have become the Obama riots. Agree that it will get much worse before it gets better. Keep an eye on the useless idiots who still try to make the case that the Occupiers are just the leftwing version of the Tea Party movement. Hard to keep a straight face on that one.
