CA Leading the Way at the DNC Bash

Russ Steele

Chanel 3, KCRA, reports that two of the California Democratic Delegates have already gotten into drunken brawls with the CA Delegate hotel staff, yet the Democratic National Convention does not even start until Tuesday the 4th of September.  What is there to celebrate?

One CA Delegate passed out and was sent to the hospital, the other was ejected from the hotel and sent home. Once again Democrats are making California proud.

    Devout Democrats are the Post- party. Post-Modern, Post-Courage, Post-Honesty, Post-Intelligent, Post-Competent.

  2. Maybe it was these numbers that caused the CA Delegates to drink, troubling to say the least.

Number of Republicans in America Reaches Record High according to Rasmussen Reports

During August, 37.6% of Americans considered themselves Republicans. That’s up from 34.9% in July  and 35.4% in June.

It’s also the largest number of Republicans ever recorded by Rasmussen Report since monthly tracking began in November 2002. The previous peak for the GOP was 37.3% in September 2004.

In the 11 swing states, Mitt Romney now attracts 46% of the vote, while
President Obama earns 44%. Four percent (4%) prefer some other
candidate, and six percent (6%) are undecided. In 2008, Obama won these
states by a combined margin of 53% to 46%, virtually identical to his
    national margin.

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Sunday shows Mitt Romney attracting support from 48% of voters nationwide, while President Obama earns 44% of the vote. Three percent (3%) prefer some other candidate, and five percent (5%) are undecided.

This is not the kind of numbers that the Democrats want to start a convention with.

Perhaps they have Mr. Emery’s talent. Their eyes automatically shut when bad news floats by.

  4. stevefrisch says:

Always going to be a few idiots in any crowd, no matter who they are. Kind of like the two idiots in the Republican crowd who had to be removed from the convention floor after throwing peanuts at an African-American CNN reporter while yelling,. “This is how we feed the animals”.

  5. stevefrisch says:

By the way, these were not just CA delegates at the convention, they were CA democratic party officials, and one of them falsely claimed to be a member of Congress when talking to the police. They should be ashamed of themselves.

  6. Todd Juvinall says:

Democrat Party folks fib so what’s new?

  7. stevefrisch says:

I don’t see you denouncing the two people who were thrown off THE FLOOR of the Republican National Convention for throwing peanuts at a black reporter and shouting “This is how we feed the animals”, Todd. The least you could do when I go out of my way to denounce bad behavior is accept it with good grace.

    • Todd Juvinall says:

Well heck, I am unaware of the issue so you are telling me something I never saw. I guess you finally said something about the alledged bad behavior of a , wait for it, a, here it comes, a REPUBLICAN! Now I just can’t recall you showing any outrage at the OWS Oakland folks or any lefty at all. Of course, I missed the alleged R’s so I could have overlooked your consistewnt critisims of lefty bad behavior, but then again maybe not.

I am a fan of law abiding behavior with a little bit of random protesting by the folks but when your ilk is trashing Oakland, Seattle and New York and you say nothing, your protestations fall on my little deaf ears.

  8. stevefrisch says:

Actually Todd, if you had been paying attention on the bogs you would have seen that I also took those that misbehaved their to task, and stated pretty clearly that their behavior was harming their cause.

    • stevefrisch says:

      Kind of garbed there, sorry.

      • Todd Juvinall says:

What is the Huffpost link relevant to?

      • stevefrisch says:

I thought you said you were unaware of the Republican National Convention incident. It is a story on it…however a similar story ran on Fox News.

    • On first glance the peanut incident seems horrible, and the ejection of the two unnamed conventioneers a good first step. However, despite the apparent target being a CNN camera operator there is no video that has come to light, and there’s no statement from the ejected giving their side. The camera operator also considers the issue closed. Good idea.

      • Todd Juvinall says:

Greg, SteveF never answered my questions which is par for the course yet he produces the link to try and show me how bad R’s are. He apparently thinks allegedly throwing a peanut at someone (which may or may not be true) is worse than OWS rape tents and trashing the Streets and businesses of Oakland. His faux peanut outrage cracks me up.

      • stevefrisch says:

What question? The “Dems are fibbers” question? I don;t answer rhetorical questions.

  9. I had never heard about the CNN Peanut story, but the drunken DNC Delegates story is all over the local news stations. it seems to have some legs. I am sure it will continue until the names are exposed, other wise all 600 CA delegates are suspected to be the ones who were ejected from the proceedings.

    • Todd Juvinall says:

They do call us the land of the fruits and the nuts. Never did like that though.

    • stevefrisch says:

The delegates should be exposed. They represented both their state and their party poorly, and probably on the DNC’s dime. The CNN reporter story was everywhere…even covered by FOX. I am actually surprised you did not see it. Top CNN’s credit they downplayed it while others did not.

  10. DNC Delegates may bring home some friends.

The blood-sucking insects have made a resurgence in recent years, including reports of them at nine of the hotels being used for Democrats’ nominating convention this week in Charlotte.

  11. Ben Emery says:

    Russ,
What this shows is a contrary picture to what many on the republican side of the aisle claim is that Democrats can party and misbehave with the best.

The sense of entitlement instead of responsibility seems to be prevalent across the entire political spectrum. Drunk with power seems to be par for the course with the Republican and Democratic Party’s.

  12. Arthur M. Day. says:

How can it be, with all those camera equipped smart phones, that there is no video of this incident?

    • stevefrisch says:

Jesus Christo Art, the RNC acknowledged the event and issues an apology. Must conspiracy reside under every rock?

      • Todd Juvinall says:

Why does a atheist use our Saviors name in vain? You are just asking for trouble.

  13. Arthur M. Day. says:

Well, look around you and see.
