George W Bush Hosts Wounded Warrior Weekend at His Texas Ranch

Russ Steele

Once again George Bush demonstrates his humanity, dancing with a wounded warrior.

This is a Class act! George W at his ranch for Ft. Hood TX wounded warrior wee-end.  I have never seen any photo of President Obama participate in a similar effort for our wounded heroes?   Have you ever seen a photo of Obama doing this?  Just think, Bush has nothing to prove and isn’t running for any office. He is a class act during a time when we need real leaders. [Like Bush's shoes.]

George was and is a class act. Humble and just plain nice. The loony left mistook that for dumb. But he kicked their butts twice and I loved every minute of it.

Devout Democrats, being so low they have to look up to see down, can not learn that you do not raise yourself by putting others down. But if they didn’t denigrate and lie, they would be mute.

Get real, ever heard of the internet, ever watch the news or read a newspaper? President Obama has spent lots of time with our wounded troops and their families. Get real. I could post 100′s of examples if you like, here’s just two:

    • Russ says:

Only when the Press is present.

      • Rush, you are right. I’ll also add that he does so only at the taxpayer’s expense. Keep in mind the photo above is on Bush’s private ranch, and is not the first time. Of course Obama participates when it is at the White House or during obligatory military hospital visits. Even the MSM would pound him for refusing those opportunities.

Steve, if you have so many examples, please find one where Obama is actually dancing, or even engaged in a private one-on-one conversation, with a wounded warrior. You won’t convince me otherwise.

      • ABSOLUTELY! Photo opps! Obama will be there, sucking money out of the taxpayers pockets for some leftwing money losing proposition that was pushed through behind closed doors & not passed by the legislature.

    • Barbara says:

Your first link has a White House speech, no actual involvement by President Obama. He stood on the Lawn while they cycled around him. Your second link has a picture of Obama, but the main article is about Bush, on a “Why I vote for Democrats” site. Try again…

  4. Mona Durham says:

A remarkable caring president and a true patriot!

    • Absolutely. He served his country in uniform and also as a humble, but generous man as a responsible & caring president. Mistaken for slow or dumb by some left wing nuts, but open & honest & dependable. A giver, not a taker.
Unlike the current president, he is a man of his word and honorable

      • bigyaz says:

Ha! He did everything he could to avoid active service.

He should be good to the wounded warriors. He’s the one that started the wars that left them wounded!

      • Russ Steele says:

And your proof of this claim is what? If you have some we would love to hear it. Bush was a F-102 Pilot and they were not deployed to Viet Nam. They were air defense aircraft, not attack aircraft. Even though there we were at war in Asia, there was still a need to defend the nation with air defense aircraft like the F-102

  5. Jason Wheeler says:

It’s great the Pres Bush does this, but why when extolling the virtues of one individual is it necessary to slam another one, in this case Obama? I don’t understand why bi-partisan politics has to be dragged into this while showcasing a great effort that Pres Bush is doing. In my opinion, it just cheapens the story.

  6. When comparing one to another (presidents for example) is one way of determining value of anything. Obama is great when compared to mao, but when we speak of a recent president, the obvious standard would be the current one.

  7. Mike says:

This photo was not taken at the George W. Bush ranch. This photo was taken at the Warrior 100k ride in April 2012 at the George W. Bush Presidential Center. And if President Bush had not engaged us in war with Iraq under false pretenses this veteran might still have both her legs. How wonderful a man is this?

    • Russ says:

I approved you comment, but disagree with your conclusion. What is your proof that GW Bush deceived the American public. The global intelligence communities thought Saddam had WMD, he told his General that he had WMD, which was reported through the intelligence channels. What is your proof of false pretenses?

  8. Wardie Turner says:

What a guy!! For the information of Mike the ride is at his ranch. What is wrong if it was at the ride??? You just have to try to destroy a really decent guy doing a really decent thing. Just let it go. President Bush is not a demon. When President Obama does decent things, we give him credit, why can’t you do the same for President Bush?
