Some of our local left have compared the Tea Party to the Occupy Wall Street, taking their lead from President Obama. Here is a comparison, for your consideration for our blog friends at Poweline.  Is the OWS just like the Tea Party?  You decide!

    The president did not say The OWS is just like the Tea party. Instead, he noted that both groups are born of frustration and that they have that one thing in common. This kind of deliberate misunderstanding is shameful and I am angered when it is done by the left or by the right.

    Not being a Tea Party member I certainly can’t get in their minds but it seems the Tea Party was founded on the concept that there was no free lunch. The US had to live within it means. The OWS group seems to be founded on the notion of free lunches for all.
