Reason TV has some excellent insight into why the stimulus failed to produced the desired jobs. I estimate the Silver Spring experience was played out in many California communities as well. Watch the video and then let me know in the comments if you observed similar activities in other communities.

As you can see Obama’s 2009 stimulus program was a massively expensive bust.

The truly sad thing is that the much hyped infrastructure spending was only a small part of the spending. Block grants to the states for Medicaid actually consumed several times the amount of money set aside infrastructure. And the medical industry didn’t have a slow down as it was.

This is a no brainer. The stimulus money has gone by the way of the money in Bernard Madoff Investment Securities and MF Global. These guys are pros at this and have been doing it for decades. It’s just that the greed and arrogance has reached a point where the amounts have surpassed the average person’s ability to comprehend. This has permeated our entire society from unions to enlightenments to banking and blatant congressional insider trading. It is so prevalent that devising methods of absconding with other people’s money has evolved to legal embezzlement of the entire economy.

If the public ever happens to comprehend the scope of what has been and continues to evolve you will see real change. Again, don’t hold your breath!

    Make “enlightenments” “entitlements”.
