The Fantasy Continues: Brown Plans Announcement on Clean Energy Jobs

Russ Steele

Gov. Jerry Brown and U.S. Secretary of the Interior Ken Salazar will be in Elk Grove today to unveil a new agreement to boost clean energy jobs. The Obama Administration and the state plan to establish new renewable energy goals for California under this new deal.

Europe was the first to adopt the alternate energy green job myth and now they are going through a painful reality check. It turns our the cost of alternative energy is too high and the green jobs have vanished after killing more conventional jobs. Search “green jobs” on this blog for details.

Why is Brown continuing down a road that leads to nowhere?

It leads to his political base being happy the money is to be flowing their way.

GregG 1231 – your assessment, while technically correct and acceptable in polite company, is a fluff ball that almost fails to communicate. I would say that Brown is doing this because the sumbich has no idea how to help the state’s economy, but he does know how to blow the kind of smoke that his constituents are forever willing to breathe and confuse with fresh air. We must always remember that people who vote from him have a huge intellectual deficit that becomes a chasm when it comes to learning from experience or any other aspect of repeatable human behavior.

    Well said George.
No doubt books will be written about the cult like devotion to the cult like devotion…again!

  4. Greg Goodknight says:

No George, it communicated exactly what is going on in the Governor’s office. The “sumbitch” exists in a space where questioning the AGW orthodoxy is unthinkable, and his people, including the “green” VC’s, want what they paid for in the last election cycle.

    Dave,

Thanks for the links. My spam filter block naked URLs, sorry for the delay in posting. Sometimes a little more context for the links gets your posts through the spam door.
