Interesting Post at Next Grand Minimum

Russ Steele

I have a post at the Next Grand Minimum on a great article by David Rose in the UK Mail On Sunday. He nicely sums up what a lot of us knew already: The thing we really need to fear right now is not global warming but global cooling.  Based on current evidence, it’s global cooling we’re going to get.

I do not expect the lamestream press to pay any attention to this story. It just doesn’t fit the AGW narrative. According to the polls we are seeing vastly increasing skepticism of AGW. In the last Pew Research Center Report, global warming was dead last. What happens when it becomes evident that the cooling is really happening and there is no relationship to CO2 emissions? That will be bad new for our bankrupt state, Governor Brown is hoping that carbon taxes to “save the planet” will save his budget from bankruptcy. If the polls are right, voters and taxpayers will be unlikely to go along.

  2. Sam King says:

Dear me, Russ, you fell for that, too. Keep your blinders on and your ears plugged as everyone reminds you how you were so easily fooled by denialist David Rose, now roundly taken to the woodshed by the Met Office, whom he misreprented, and every piece of data that he misrepresented, and by normal climate scientists who refuted him easily and entirely.

And you think you’ve got a winning “conservative” strategy, Russ?

  3. Russ says:

    Sam,

Please share some of that critique with us. What was the major down fall of David Rose analysis, where did he go wrong? When I look at the data, I see a 15 year decline in temperatures. What do you see?

  4. Sam King says:

I see what climate scientists see, in mark contradiction to your denialist journalist. Again, I don’t rely on unqualified and irrelevant authorities. You’ve yet to explain to your readers why you have to, Russ.
