California: The Road Warrior Is Here

Victor Davis Hanson has a essay on PJ Media this morning with the above title that every California citizen should read and heed.  Like Hanson, we are quietly preparing for a world out of control as our cultural roots are destroyed by the liberal elites who have taken control of the state.  If we do not see some change in our leadership the cultural rot that is pervasive in the Central Valley will soon come to our neighborhoods in the Sierra Foothills.

  1. VDH has it correct. The State has been self destructing for about thirty years. When I was a County Supe, we fought to stop mandates but we lost. However, what we at the local level said has come true. All the mandates (rules) not funded have BK’d everyone. When you see the myriad of rules for every possibility in life and business, I cannot see a solution. Perhaps a strong ONE TERM Governor could blue pencil the place into reality.

    That’s the second essay on the destruction by VDH that I have read. Previous one was 2 or so yrs. ago. The essay may be going viral, one of my Seattle friends also linked me to it . The Devout Democrats have the minus Midas touch, everything they touch turns to ….
