If it happens I feel for my sister who lives in the Twin Cities area of Minnesota. I haven’t the foggiest notion why? She was born at Miner’s Hospital in Nevada City. Is it still there?

Bummer, seems we are looking at a dry and warm winter in the west. whole lot of drought going on across the U.S. We sure need a wet, big snow winter here.

This a.m.’s, 21 Oct., NOAA Weather Radio 8>14 day outlook for the Seattle area calls for above normal temps & precip. That takes us out to 3 Nov. Such weather usually comes to the PNW from N. of the Hawiian Islands and is known up here as a Pineapple Express.

  4. Arthur M. Day. says:

Meanwhile, the PNW is experiencing 10 deg. F. below normal daytime highs and showery weather from last night through to the weekend. I had to up my electric blanket two numbers last night. Nothing special, just a massive low sitting off Haida Gwai and sending us lots of Gulf of Alaska frigidities.
